Cornhole is a classic game that is often played as an outdoor sport. Popularly known as Corn Toss or Hillbilly Horseshoes, this game is commonly known for making family group get-togethers more fun, even weddings.  Nowadays, wedding cornhole game boards are one of the trending accessories for cornhole. These boards make the wedding experience better than ever for cornhole lovers. These games are also ideal for any kind of family reunion where people of all ages and skill levels can interact and engage.

Wedding cornhole boards are now trending in many online stores. Let’s take a look at how you can customize your wedding cornhole boards either for your own wedding or as a gift for the happy couple.

  • Use Monograms

You can use the initials of your/their name to customize the game boards.

  • Keep the Date

Write your/their wedding date on the board and play the game at all your/their upcoming anniversary parties.

  • Mr. and Mrs.

Either engrave “Mr.” on one board and “Mrs.” on the other or get both of them engraved on the same board. If you prefer, you can also put your/their last name on it. It’s up to you to make a choice.

  • Bride and Groom

It’s time to have the team “bride” and team “groom” play on opposite sides! You can also make other additions to make the game more interesting.

  • Pictures

You can get your photos imprinted on your cornhole boards. Better choose romantic ones to keep up the enthusiasm.

Rules to Play the Wedding Cornhole Game

Here is a simplified version for the wedding Cornhole game:

  • The court should be set up with the two cornhole boards facing each other (Approximately the distance maintained is 27 feet to 30 feet)
  • Cornhole can be played as doubles or singles. In singles, the first player tosses all of his/her corn bags (four bags to a set) and then the second player does likewise.
  • In doubles, both players of one team will toss from one platform and the other team tosses from the other platform. Team members alternate tosses until all eight bags have been tossed, and then the other team does the same. An inning consists of both sides tossing.
  • A bag on the board is worth 1 point; a bag in the hole is worth 3 points.
  • The game ends when one player or team scores 21.
  • Whichever player or team scored higher in the preceding inning takes the first turn in the next inning.
